It's like having a doctor in the
family

Dr. Jodi wanted to create a community where her patients felt like family. She researched an option that would allow her to use all of her experience as a primary care physician while incorporating her strong desire to care for patients on a more personal level. After a year of research, going to a DPC Summit Conference held by the American Academy of Family Physicians in 2022 and speaking with dozens of DPC physicians, she decided this was ultimately the next chapter in her career.

Direct primary care was the answer to this calling!

Experience

Dr. Jodi Stutts, M.D. started with Carolinas Healthcare (currently Atrium) in Lincolnton, NC in 2006. She loved the small town feel of medicine and primary care and worked there until 2013, when she took 9 months off to care for her two babies at home. Though she loved being a stay-at-home Mom, she missed her role as a physician. After nine months, she then accepted a position closer to home at Carolinas Health Care Davidson Clinic where she worked for 3 years.

In 2016, the opportunity to work even closer to home presented itself and she joined Iredell Family Medicine with Iredell Health Systems in Mooresville, NC. Her role as a corporate physician was fulfilling, but she felt the need to pursue a career as a physician that didn’t have some of the constraints of the corporate world.
